How to become a resident

Our process is simple and compassionate. Here is what to expect from your first contact to move-in day.

Call, email, or fill out our contact form. Someone will get back to you within 24 hours.

Phone call

A brief, informal conversation to understand your situation and answer your questions.

Home visit

Tour the house, meet current residents, and speak with our house manager in person.

Move in

Once approved, we set your move-in date and welcome you home.

Who we can house

General requirements

New Leaf Madison is a sober living home, not a treatment facility. Residents are expected to be committed to their recovery and to contributing to a supportive community environment.

Commitment to sobriety and willingness to follow house guidelines

Engaged in or recently completed a recovery program

Ability to pay weekly rent (assistance resources are available)

Willingness to participate in house meetings and community life

18 years of age or older

Background review required (reviewed individually and with care)
